Foam Block Printing!

Here are a few simple steps to make a succesful Foam Block Print:

1. Firstly you need to draw a design on to your foam block with a blunt pencil.

2.Choose your first colour to print with ( Make your first colour a light one and then you can work your way down to the darker colours)

3. Roll your chosen colour on to your foam block and print it on to a blank piece of paper(making sure the paint is not to thick or thin.)

4. Repeat this procces 5 times using the same colour.

5. Do the same thing as step 3 but choose a different colour.(make sure you line the print up)

6. Do the same thing as steps 3 & 4 but this time choose a darker colour like blue.

7. once the art work is dry you can mount it on some black paper to display.

this year we went to roses gap!

Orientation- 2 characters Tom& Grace find hidden treasures.

Problem- The treasureis on protected land therefor they cant take it.

Complication- 1 night they decideto try steal it. but it turns out there  is a ranger patroling.

Resolution- Mum& Dad get fined and the treasure is taken by the state muesem.

Conclusion-The boys learnt their lesson.

I’m really happy that I came to this school because-

·         You have a great number of opportunities you can take up.

For instance you can go on a triathlon involving 5 other schools. There is also a cross country between local schools.

This year the 9&10’s have the option to go to China. If they can’t make the numbers the trip is opened up to students in years 7 – 12 There are also many other different opportunities you can take whilst you are at Hawkesdale Collage.

Hawkesdale has a number of great facilities like the cooking room, wood work room, we have a great stadium. We also have 2 computer labs. These are just a few of the facilities your child will be able to use if they choose to come to this school.

“Get off the road moron”“Why don’t you open your eyes sunshine” This was Melbourne one of the most road raged filled cities in Australia, cars going one way trams and buses heading for one another it was hells hell. “WAKE UP and get ready to go to school”“IM UP for Christ sake”“Don’t start using that language Luke”Monday mornings were always our most stressful mornings out of the entire week.(School) Ding Dong Ding Dong. The bell for first period suddenly rings.“Ohhh we got humanities then chemistry first up”“Oh god my brains not even awake” says Jackson.Jackson was practically Lukes brother they’ve known each other since the very ripe age of 3.                                       Recess “Punch him”“Break his nose”“Get into him” One of Lukes down sides is that he will snap easier than you can break a twig. This is what happened at a typical Melbourne school every day you can guarantee that there will be a fight.Maths was the last thing I needed at the end of the day.“There will be a pop quiz tomorrow so if you wish to pass I suggest you get home and start studying.” “We only live 2 blocks from school but still it was hell trying to get home in one piece”“Hello how was your day”“Meh” When Luke was only 4 his dad died in a car accident and he’s never been the same towards his mother or really any one he hasn’t opened up ever since that day, but what really hurt him was that he died on Christmas Eve, he didn’t even open his presents till about a week after the accident.                                            

I Broke A record In javelin at the MWC.

I kicked the Winning Goal in last years Premiership for Geelong.

I also Came second in discus.

I can jump my motor bike without falling off.

yes we can sand surf on the big dunes.

we go to school for a minimum of 10 years but if you want to go university you have to go to school for 12 years.

yeah we do have all the 4 seasons except our summer is in Jan. Feb. Dec. and our winter is when you have your summer.

Our main Sport we play is AFL (Australian Football Legue)
